Our wonderful Peak District Tour on Friday
2:30-3:30pm Park and Chatsworth House (cloudy)
(The tour started here, attractive flowers in those family gardens)
(mushroom on an old tree)
(standing at a far side of the park to see the Chatsworth House)
3:30-4:20pm Arbor Low-"the Stonehenge of the North" (raining)
(tranquil stone circle and sheep)
4:35-4:50pm Magpie Lead Mine (drizzle)
(The rusty door plate)
(The road to the Magpie Mine. The mine must be very deep as Willy picked up a small stone and gently dropped it into the mine, we could hardly hear its drop. It's 728 feet.)
(We rarely see this kind of tiny flowers in Sheffield)
5:05pm a cup of coffee (cloudy)
The road back Sheffield
