On Thursday evening Playback Theatre York gave a stunning performance at The Edge in which they drew out our stories, feelings and thoughts about the conference and its themes, and then improvised instant dramatic scenarios around these contributions. 

 

Playback theatre is an artistic medium which fitted very well with the LTEA themes and concerns.  When I was thinking about how to introduce the evening, I made a few notes in which I sketched out connections and synergies.  Here is a picture of the way I conceived these.

I thought the Playback performance was wonderful - it brought together so many themes that had been raised during the conference and certainly encouraged openness and debate. Thanks Brendan for facilitating such a great evening! Something to remember...
